Christian JADOT

Inspired by his grandfather, a civil engineer who travelled across the world building ports and railway lines, particularly in Asia and Africa, Christian was naturally drawn to the construction industry.

After two years at engineering school, Christian discovered a passion for architecture.

In 1988, he changed course to study architecture at the “Institut Supérieur d'Architecture de Saint-Luc Bruxelles”, graduating as an architect-urbanist in 1992.

From 1992 to 2004, Christian began his career as an architect with A.U.S.I.A, a Franco-Belgian agency, where he learned the architectural profession through a wide range of large-scale projects, mainly in France and internationally.

On the strength of this experience, Christian started a new career at ARTBUILD in 2004 as Project Director. Quickly, he took charge of a wide range of major projects, particularly in the healthcare sector.

In 2008, Christian became a partner in Studio ARTBUILD and then took the management of the Health Division.

In 2016, he is a member of the Executive Committee, where he co-manages the Brussels, Luxembourg and Paris offices with his 3 partners.

Christian is currently in charge of prospecting, competitions and projects in the healthcare sector, including the following major projects:

- modernisation of the Abbeville hospital;
- modernisation of the Institute Curie hospital in Paris;
- the extension and renovation of the Tivoli University Hospital's high-rise building;
- the technical platform at the Mont-de-Marsan CHI;
- the new Emergency Department at Roubaix Hospital;
- the construction of the new Mother and Child Unit at Rennes University Hospital.

  - LE WIELS, a contemporary art centre
  - UNIVERSALIS PARK, housing, shops and a crèche
  - The mixed-use project to revitalise Andenne town centre.

• In Luxembourg:
  - LIVINGSTONE II, housing, offices and co-living
  - WOODEN, offices
  - THE ROOTS, offices and co-living, housing and shops
  - RIVER PLACE, housing, co-living and offices
  - Shell, housing on top of a service station.

• In France:
  - The Emergency-Reanimation-Medicine project on the Purpan site of Toulouse University Hospital
  - The Maternity Unit at Roubaix Hospital
  - The Laboratory and Sterilization Unit at Roubaix Hospital
