Marco DA COL

Born in Aosta, Italy, Marco graduated as architectural engineer at the Politecnico di Torino in 2000.

After a short spell working in his hometown he practiced for several years in Maastricht and joined ArtBuild in 2008.

With a strong personal feeling for innovative and sustainable solutions, Marco’s daily drive is to make architecture with a capital A. He is a highly experienced senior concept designer with good communicative skills and expertise in the healthcare sector and other complex projects. Marco ensures a coordinated integral design where aesthetical and technical aspects proceed hand in hand.

Among others, he has designed the University Hospital “Île de Nantes” (1.400 beds and 58 operating rooms) and the shopping and leisure centre Docks Bruxsel.

Marco is currently leading the design team for the new International Agency for Research on Cancer for the WHO in Lyon.
